MY STORY

From Indonesia
To the Arctic

Some of the most meaningful journeys begin without knowing where they will lead.
From the vibrant energy of Indonesia to the vast stillness of the Arctic, my path has unfolded through unexpected opportunities, extraordinary people, and meaningful connections. Looking back, I can see how each experience continues to shape my perspective, deepen my understanding of myself, and remind me that rediscovering who we truly are is a lifelong journey.

My Journey

Every chapter of my life has taught me something I couldn't have learned any other way.

EXPECTATIONS

I grew up believing success meant following a path that had already been mapped out for me. I grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia, where the future seemed clear. Go to a fantastic school. Work hard. Go to university. Achieve highly. Build a successful career. Don’t question the plan.

Like many of us, I believed that if I followed the plan, happiness would naturally follow. It was a life that made sense on paper, yet somewhere beneath it all, a deeper part of me longed for a more aligned way of living.

….something more authentic

SEARCHING

As I grew older, I began following the path I believed would lead to fulfilment. I studied in the Netherlands, completed my master’s degree in England, and dreamed of building a career where I could make a meaningful difference in the world. I believed that helping to change the world would also help me find my place within it.

Yet despite doing everything I believed I was supposed to do, things didn’t make me happy.

Unable to find the career I had imagined, I became a tour guide.

Looking back now, I can see those years taught me something I couldn’t have learned any other way. I discovered how deeply I enjoyed working with people, supporting them through unfamiliar experiences, and being someone they could rely on. Although it wasn’t the future I had planned, it quietly began leading me towards the work I do today.

LETTING GO

Life continued to surprise me.

What began as a season working in Turkey eventually led me to the Arctic, where I met my husband and discovered a completely different way of living. Surrounded by vast landscapes, huskies, and the quiet rhythm of nature, I slowly began letting go of the expectations I had carried for so long.

For the first time, I realised that perhaps I didn’t need to follow the norm, the expectations…but instead find meaning for myself. Letting go of what success meant for others. Letting go of searching to realise life isn’t about a checklist of accomplishments.

STILLNESS

Nature became my greatest teacher.

In the stillness of the forests and the wide Arctic landscapes, I discovered something I had spent much of my life overlooking: my sensitivity wasn’t something to hide—it was something to honour. Feeling energies, feeling people’s emotions and being an empath is a super power. Not something to be ashamed of or run away from.

The more time I spent immersed in nature, slowing down, the more I learned to trust my intuition, reconnect with myself, and find peace in simply being rather than constantly trying to find answers and overthinking.

The silence helped me to realise how busy my mind was.

Nature helped me to reconnect with the earth and her elements. To find kinship in trees, stones, water… fire. Even the amazing aurora borealis… it has allowed me to listen and feel the energies of nature.

REMEMBERING

Today, I see every chapter of my journey as preparation for the work I now do.

The experiences that once felt disconnected—travelling the world, guiding people, living close to nature, and embracing my own healing—have quietly come together.

Through Healing with Jordana, I offer a calm and compassionate space where you can slow down, feel supported, and gently reconnect with yourself. My hope is that our work together helps you remember what has always been there beneath the expectations, fear, and noise of everyday life.

My Philosophy

Sometimes the most important step is simply to slow down, breathe, reflect, and listen.

Life asks different things of each of us. I believe each of us carries our own wisdom within. Sometimes we need space to grieve, to heal, to find clarity, or simply to breathe again.

Healing, to me, is gently peeling away the layers of expectation, fear and self-doubt until we rediscover who we authentically are.

Together, we create a safe space where you can slow down, listen, let go, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels true for you.

Take the step towards rediscovering yourself...
